About the Event

World Youth Day brings together Catholic youth between the ages of 16 and 35 from over 150 countries.

World Youth Day first began in the mid-1980s when Pope John Paul II invited youth from around the world to gather in prayer for peace and reconciliation. In 2002, over 500,000 young people from around the world attended World Youth Day at Ontario, Canada.

World Youth Day will be celebrated August 2005 in Cologne, Germany. We invite you to participate.
